Government forces storm town in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday afternoon, a security force of the Syrian government forces raided a house in the town of al-Giza in the eastern countryside of Daraa, south Syria.

Members of the Military Security and Air Intelligence Branches of the government forces raided a house in the town, local sources told North Press.

The military force arrested the young man, Ali al-Khatib, from his home, the sources added.

According to the sources, al-Khatib works within the ranks of the Eighth Brigade of the Russian-backed Fifth Corps in Daraa.

On December 25, 2021, members of the Air Force Intelligence of the government forces raided the house of Hamza al-Tubaishi in the town of al-Giza.

He was not at home that time, but his house was looted by the members of the Sir Force Intelligence, according to what a source indicated at the time.
