Woman arrested for complicity with ISIS in Iraq

ERBIL, KRG, Iraq (North Press) – On Wednesday, Iraqi aircrafts bombed three posts of the Islamic State organization (ISIS) in Hamrin Mountains, north of Diyala governorate, during an inspection operation launched from five sides by Diyala Operations Command for the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).

In the framework of pursuing ISIS remnants, Iraqi Security Media Cell announced the arrest of a woman, who convoyed information to ISIS about the members of the security services and their collaborators.

“A woman was arrested while entering the Yathrib area in Balad district in Saladin governorate,” Iraqi Security Media Cell said in a statement.

The arrested woman was “wanted to judiciary under the provisions of the article on terrorism,” the statement added.
