HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday midnight, unidentified persons, expected to be ISIS sleeper cells, killed an Iraqi refugee in Hawl Camp, northeast Syria.
A source of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) in the camp said that the Iraqi refugee, Hussein al-Ashour, was found killed by a gunshot to the head inside his tent in the third sector.
Al-Ashour, 25, was from al-Hardan clan in Anbar Governorate, western Iraq.
In mid-June, the Hawl camp documented more than ten killings.
