DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, unidentified persons, who were riding a motorbike, shot dead a tribal notable in the town of Hawayej Thyab in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor, with a silence pistol.
“Masked persons wearing traditional clothes fired at Sheikh Abdulrazaq Al al-Sheikh Issa, one of the most prominent notables of the al-Akidat tribe, which led to his immediate death,” a military source from the town told North Press.
