Russian-Turkish joint patrol in Syria’s west Kobani
KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Russian Military Police conducted a joint patrol with Turkey in the west countryside of Kobani.
It is the 46th patrol between the two forces in the region.
The patrol set out from Ashma village, 20 kilometers west of Kobani, and it included eight Russian-Turkish military vehicles.
It roamed the villages of Jarqli Fawqani, Qaran, Dikmdash, Khorkhori, Boban, Gul Bey, Sosin, Qula, Qara Qawy Tahtani, Binder, Mashkou, Jebna, Jarqali Fawqani to reach Ashma.
After that, Turkish military vehicles returned to Turkey through the gate near the village, while the Russian military vehicles returned to their position near a radio tower, west of Kobani.
The Russian military police has conducted the 45th joint patrol with Turkey on March 1, in the eastern countryside of Kobani.
