Turkish Gendarmerie kill child in Syria’s Idlib

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) On Thursday, the Turkish border guard (Gendarmerie) killed a 12-year-old child in   Idlib’s countryside.

Local sources from the area told North Press that the Turkish soldiers fired at the  civilians’ homes in the village of al-Madlousa, adjacent to the Turkish border, west of the town of Salqin, northwest Idlib.

The sources added that snipers shot the child Ahmad Yasser al-Abd to death while he was in front of his house.

The Turkish Gendarmerie’s killings of civilians who work in their agricultural lands near the Syrian-Turkish border, and others who try to cross the border, have become frequent.

On February 12, a child was killed near the village of Adnaniyah, after Turkish border guards shot him to death while he was working with his grandfather in the farm.
