Casualties due to military helicopter crash, east Turkey

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense said that 9 of its soldiers were killed and 4 others were injured due to helicopter crash in Bingul governorate, east of Turkey. 

“Contact with a Cougar helicopter was lost this afternoon, half an hour after taking off from the city of Bingul to the city of Tatwan,” the Ministry added. 

The Ministry did not disclose any further information on the cause of the crash.

The Turkish army started a search operation for the missing helicopter, to be seen it was crashed and nine bodies were found.
