Violent attack by Turkish-backed groups on M4 near Ein Issa

The Turkish-backed armed opposition groups are carrying out a fierce attack on Sharakrak area, 10km east of the town of Ein Issa on the international highway M4, supported by Turkish bombardment, where clashes between those armed groups and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are taking place amid heavy Turkish bombardment on the area.
While Tal Tamr countryside has been witnessing clashes for weeks, between the Turkish military and Turkish-backed armed opposition groups on one hand, and the SDF and the Syrian government forces on the other.
North-Press has reported continued fighting in the vicinity of the town of Tal Tamr and the countryside of Abu Rasin (Zargan), north of the international highway M4.
A military source told North-Press that the Russian forces tend to take the village of Um al-Kaif as a military base, which is about 5km to the north of Tal Tamr.
Moreover, military sources told North-Press that the Russian forces are expected to reach the international highway M4 in the upcoming hours, in order to impose its supervision on the highway.
Information was received regarding the implementation of an agreement with Turkey, to withdraw its backed armed groups from the M4 and its surrounding.
A military source has told North-Press that the SDF will withdraw from villages in the countryside of Tal Tamr, west of Hasakah, on the front-lines of contact with Turkish-backed armed opposition groups, in preparation for the deployment of the Syrian government forces there. In a related context, sources said that the U.S. forces intend to establish a military site in the border town of Amude, in the western countryside of the town, in the upcoming days.
