Large Turkish military convoy enters Syria’s Idlib

On Monday, a Turkish military convoy consisting of 50 military vehicles, including artillery and military equipment have entered the Syrian territories via Kafr-Lossin border point in north of Idlib, and headed towards the Turkish observation posts in the de-escalation zones in north-west of Syria.

A Turkish military convoy has entered at midnight Sunday-Monday via Kafr-Lossin border point in north of Idlib towards the de-escalation zones in northwestern Syria, consisting of 250 trucks carrying tanks, armored vehicles and vehicles carrying logistical equipment.

On Sunday, a Turkish convoy entered Idlib countryside, including 60 military and logistical vehicles.

This brings the number of Turkish military vehicles that entered the Syrian territories within two days to 360 vehicles.

The de-escalation zones are still witnessing relative calmness amid the absence of the Russian and Syrian warplanes and the Turkish drones for the fourth consecutive day, without information so far about the existence of clashes and shootings between the Syrian government forces and the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
