321 displaced families return from Syria’s Idlib camps
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – A convoy carrying 321 displaced families leaves camps in Idlib on Thursday, heading to their villages and towns in Hama, Idlib, Homs, Damascus countryside, Aleppo and Damascus.
The Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management said through its official platforms that the convoy departed under the sponsorship of Idlib Governorate, in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Muzn Organization, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and the Directorate of Emergency and Disaster Management.
On Wednesday, another convoy carrying about 217 displaced families left camps in northern Idlib countryside, heading to their cities and towns in several governorates.
The ministry said teams from the Directorate of Emergency and Disaster Management in Idlib, in cooperation with the participating organizations, provided healthcare services to the displaced families to ensure their safety during the return journey.
