QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces move into Jamlah village in western Daraa on Thursday, stopping and searching passersby before withdrawing toward the Golan Heights.
Local sources told North Press that an Israeli military force comprising three vehicles, including two troop carriers, entered Jamlah village in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa and deployed around the village for some time.
The sources said no clashes or injuries were reported during the incursion. The forces stopped and searched passersby before later withdrawing toward the Golan Heights.
Footage circulating online shows Israeli military vehicles moving through the Wadi al-Raqad area and advancing into residential neighborhoods in Jamlah village. The footage also shows vehicles stopped in the middle of the road and Israeli personnel stopping passersby.
