Three civilians injured in a motorcycle explosion in al-Shaddadi, southern Hasakah

On Monday morning, three civilians in the town of al-Shaddadi, south of Hasakah, were wounded in a motorcycle explosion in front of the building of Internal Security Forces (Asayish).

North-Press reporter indicated that the explosion occurred at 09:30 this morning, in front of the building of Internal Security Forces in the town’s main street, and the wounded people were taken into al-Shaddadi Hospital.

The explosion, in addition to the injury of the three civilians, caused damage to the shops on the roadway near the site of the explosion, while Internal Security Forces imposed a security cordon around the site of the explosion.

On December 13th, an Islamic State (ISIS) sleeper cell carried out an armed attack on a patrol of Syrian Democratic Forces, before which the SDF had captured five ISIS elements, an SDF member was killed in the attack.
