Qamishli – North-Press Agency
Two unidentified persons were killed by a landmine as they were trying to plant it this morning near the main highway, in the southern countryside of the city of Al-Malikiyah/Derik, northeastern Syria.
According to a special source told North-Press that the mine was exploded while the two unidentified persons were trying to place it in a nearby place to the village of Tal-Mashhan, to the south of the main highway which leads to the Syrian-Iraqi border town of Tal-Kojar, in the eastern countryside of Hasakah governorate, at an early hour this morning.
It’s worth mentioning that the region of northeastern Syria is recently witnessing repeated terrorist VBIED explosions, the latest of which was a series of bombings that hit the cities of Hasakah and Qamishli, while the ruling authority of the Autonomous Administration has accused several hostile sides including the Islamic State group.
