Israeli forces conduct new incursion in Syria’s Quneitra

QUNEITRA, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces on Tuesday carried out a new incursion into the countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, amid an increase in Israeli military activity.

The operation comes two days after a resident of southern Quneitra countryside was wounded by Israeli gunfire in the Wadi al-Raqad area, west of Daraa Governorate, and was transferred to a hospital for treatment.

Local sources told North Press that an Israeli patrol entered the village of Ain Zivan in southern Quneitra countryside on Tuesday morning and raided several homes during the operation.

The sources did not report any arrests resulting from the raid.

Areas across Quneitra countryside have witnessed repeated Israeli military movements and incursions in recent months, often involving house searches and inspections, fueling tension and concern among local residents.
