SDF’s Abdi meets Kobani district head to discuss services, security

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – Mazloum Abdi, Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), on Saturday met with Ibrahim Muslim, head of the Kobani district, in the city of Hasakah in northeastern Syria, to discuss service and security files related to Kobani and its countryside.

A source who attended the meeting told North Press that the atmosphere was “positive,” noting that both sides stressed the need to strengthen service provision and security measures in the city.

The meeting was also attended by Anwar Muslim, former co-chair of Kobani affiliated with the Autonomous Administration, and Majd al-Din al-Sheikh, head of the Internal Security Directorate in Kobani.

During the meeting, Abdi reviewed the service, security, and administrative situation in Kobani district and the challenges the area has faced in recent months.

For his part, Ibrahim Muslim presented several projects aimed at improving services in Kobani, along with plans and an agenda related to the overall needs of the district, according to the source.

The source added that Abdi welcomed the proposed projects and plans, stressing the importance of intensifying efforts to enhance stability and improve living conditions in the area.
