Iranian missile strike injures 15 in Tel Aviv
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Israeli media reported on Sunday that 15 people were injured, including two critically, after Iranian missiles struck Tel Aviv.
The attack came on the same morning the United States launched a large-scale strike on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
On the tenth day of the war between Israel and Iran, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that American forces had carried out a successful operation targeting three key Iranian nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
Meanwhile, the Israeli forces confirmed that it had detected a heavy barrage of Iranian missiles launched toward Israeli territory.
According to Israel Hayom daily newspaper, the Iranian missile salvo included approximately 30 projectiles, prompting sirens to sound across wide areas in northern and central Israel.
The Iranian attack resulted in 15 injuries in Tel Aviv, with emergency services reporting two individuals in critical condition.
In response, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi warned of the “everlasting consequences” of the U.S. action. Araqchi emphasized that Iran reserves the right to defend its sovereignty, invoking Article 51 of the UN Charter, which permits self-defense in the face of armed attack.
He accused the United States of committing a “grave violation” of international law and the UN Charter by targeting what he described as “peaceful nuclear installations.”
On the Israeli side, Defense Minister Israel Katz praised President Trump’s decision. Katz stated that the destruction of Iran’s nuclear sites was essential to ensuring that Tehran is permanently prevented from acquiring nuclear weapons and to maintaining the momentum of Israeli military operations.
