Dialogue forum in Suwayda discusses Syria’s challenges
SUWAYDA, Syria (North Press) – A dialogue forum was held on Monday in Suwayda, southern Syria, to discuss the upcoming National Conference, the challenges facing Syria in the current phase, and other pressing topics.
The event was organized by the Syrian Democratic Alliance, a coalition of independent political and civil entities.
This alliance has been active openly in areas outside the former regime’s control, such as Idlib, Aleppo, and Suwayda, and operates covertly in regime-held areas, including Damascus and Syria’s coastal regions.
North Press correspondent said that the forum was held in coordination with the “Roots of Syria” organization and brought together political and civil forces from various regions of Syria.
The discussions focused on the strategies needed to ensure the success of the anticipated National Conference and the broader challenges Syria faces during this transitional period.
Participants emphasized the importance of involving all political and civil forces in the conference to shape a future for Syria that reflects the aspirations of all its diverse communities.
