Saudi FM Urges Global Support for Syria’s New Administration

DAMASCUS, SYRIA (North Press) – Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan called on the international community to extend support to Syria’s new administration, emphasizing the heavy legacy it has inherited and the need for regional and global cooperation.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday, bin Farhan highlighted the importance of aiding Syria’s transition following years of conflict and political upheaval.
Acknowledging Syria’s Challenges
“The new administration in Damascus has inherited a heavy burden,” bin Farhan said. “We must all extend a helping hand to Syria.”
The minister pointed to the renewed willingness of the Syrian leadership to engage with regional partners and the international community, describing it as a positive development.
