Turkish airstrikes hit service facilities in NE Syria
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Turkish airstrikes targeted on Friday night several industrial and service facilities in the eastern countryside of Qamishli in northeastern Syria.
Multiple Turkish drones carried out successive airstrikes on a car repair workshop and nearby factories in the al-Hakl area in the town of Rimelan in the east of Qamishli.
Thick columns of smoke rose from the targeted site. However, the full extent of the damage and losses from these attacks remains unknown at this time.
Since early Thursday, Turkey has conducted extensive airstrikes targeting oil facilities, essential infrastructure, and vast areas across north and northeastern Syria.
According to the latest toll released by the SDF, the Turkish airstrikes, which caused considerable infrastructure damage, resulted in the killing of 12 people and the injury of 25 other.
