Car bomb blast in Deir ez-Zor kills 4 Iranian-backed militants
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – A car bomb exploded on Saturday in the city of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, killing four militants of an Iranian-backed militia.
A car bomb was exploded in the Syrian government-held area located between al-Fateh Mosque and the Iranian Cultural Center in al-Qosour neighborhood in the city of Deir ez-Zor.
As an initial toll, the explosion resulted in the killing of four militants of the Iranian-backed Usud al-Sharqiya militia (Lions of the East) and the injury of others, according to Deir Ezzor 24.
Jasser al-Habini al-Bwat and Oweid al-Muhya al-Ali, two members of the Usud al-Sharqiya were among the killings, the Deir Ezzor 24 said.
