Woman dies of wounds sustained in previous Turkish strike in Qamishli
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – A woman lost her life on Thursday due to injuries she sustained in a Turkish drone strike of a poultry shed last month in the countryside of Qamishli city, northeastern Syria.
Sources close to the family of the deceased woman, Thawra Matar, 40, told North press, “She lost her life in a hospital in the town of Tirbe Spi [al-Qahtaniyeh] this morning, succumbing to her wounds after suffering a brain hemorrhage.”
On December 24, 2022, a Turkish drone targeted a poultry shed close to the town of Tirbe Spi in the eastern countryside of Qamishli city.
The attack injured three women, including Matar, and a child, after which they were taken to the hospital, in addition to causing material damage in the targeted place.
