Turkish attacks on Syria’s Aleppo claim lives of three government soldiers

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Three soldiers of the Syrian government forces were killed and six others were wounded in Turkish airstrikes that targeted the government’s posts in the countryside of Aleppo, a military source said on Tuesday.

“The aggression comes in the context of the Turkish regime’s continued support for the armed terrorist groups,” the official was quoted by the State-run News Agency SANA quoted as saying.

“The Syrian armed forces responded to that aggression and targeted its sites, destroyed some of them and inflicted human and material losses to the aggressors,” the source added.

Sites of “terrorist organizations” were also targeted and some of their sites and training centers were destroyed, according to the source.

It stressed that Syria will respond immediately on all fronts if Turkey continues its aggressions, saying, “we stress that any attack on a military point for our armed forces, it will be met with a swift response on all fronts.”

Earlier on Tuesday, an eyewitness told North Press that 22 soldiers of the government forces were killed in a nine-air raid by Turkish forces.
