Iraqi security arrests Hawl’s ISIS families’ smuggler

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, Iraqi Security Media Cell announced the arrest of the smuggler of ISIS families from Hawl camp in northeast Syria to Iraq.

The Cell said in a statement, that the operation took place in the Jaghifi complex in the Sinjar (Shingal) district.

“The terrorist is responsible for smuggling the families of ISIS from Hawl camp in Syria to Iraqi territory through  forged documents,” the Security Cell said.

On November 15, 2020, a military source told North Press that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) had arrested a member of ISIS who was working to smuggle the ISIS families and leaders from a camp.
