Global Coalition sends more fighting vehicles to Syria’s northeast

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, five US military Bradley fighting vehicles arrived at the base of the US-led Global Coalition in the Ghuweiran neighborhood on the southern side of the city of Hasakah, northeast Syria.

Yesterday evening, seven other US military vehicles arrived at a base of the Coalition, northwest of Hasakah, coming from Remailan, far northeastern Syria.

The Bradley is designed to transport infantry or scouts with armor protection.

The US-led Global Coalition forces are continuing to send more military reinforcements to their bases in the northeast Syria, an informed military source told North Press.

On September 19, the Global Coalition announced that it had sent new vehicles to northeast Syria.

Yesterday, the US House of Representatives rejected an amendment proposed by the Democratic Congressman Jamaal Bowman aiming at ending the presence of US forces in Syria, a year after the legislation was activated.

The US Department of Defense has dedicated about $170 million to develop the SDF’s security and defense capabilities and to secure civilian needs that would ensure long-term stability in the region.
