Israeli forces raid village, assault two residents in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces on Wednesday conducted a raid in the western countryside of Daraa, southern Syria, searching homes and assaulting two local residents.

Local sources told North Press that an Israeli military convoy comprising more than 10 vehicles and an infantry force of more than 70 soldiers entered the village of Jamla in western Daraa.

The soldiers searched several homes in the northeastern neighborhood of the village, the sources said.

Two residents were also assaulted during the operation, with the forces restraining and tying them up outside their homes, according to the sources.

The operation lasted several hours, and no residents were arrested during the raid, the sources added.
