Our curricula covers all ethnic communities in the area: Syria’s AANES
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Autonomous Administration owns curricula that represents all ethnic communities in the area and it works on developing and uniting it, an official of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) said on Saturday.
“The Autonomous Administration has completed the curricula in the three official languages (Arabic, Kurdish and Syriac) in the area,” co-chair of the AANES Education Board, Rajab al-Mushref, told North Press.
“The AANES is working on developing the educational staff and enhancing the skills to achieve an educational process that agrees with the modern teaching methods,” he added.
Regarding the preventative measures against the coronavirus, al-Mushref pointed out that the Education Board informed all committees and affiliated bodies for the need to be cautious and careful and to sterilize the schools before students start schools.
On September 9, the AANES Education Board held its first conference under the slogan “Towards building a united educational and teaching system to build a democratic, integrated and cognitive society” in the city of Tabqa , northern Syria, and it was attended by AANES officials and educational cadres from the areas of northeast Syria.
It is noteworthy that the school year of 2021-2022 in northeast Syria starts tomorrow, on Sunday.
