US forces conduct fourth patrol in week in Syria’s Derik

DERIK, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, US forces conducted a military patrol in the countryside of Derik, northeast Syria.

“The patrol consisting of four military vehicles arrived at the village at noon,” a local source from the village of Ain Dewar, in the northern Derik countryside, stated.

The patrol roamed the northern countryside of Derik amid intensive flight by Global Coalition aircraft over the area.

The patrol headed towards the Roman Bridge near the Syrian-Turkish border,” and the patrol was still stationed there at the time of this report.

On Monday, American troops conducted a patrol in the southwest countryside of Derik.

On Saturday, American troops conducted two different patrols; one in the countryside of Derik and the second in the countryside of Rimelan.
