Turkish forces break up protest with tear gas in Syria’s Murik

MURIK, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces broke up a protest in thenorthern Hama countryside, in which the protesters demanded Turkish departurefrom Syria.

The Syrian Observatory Human Rights confirmed that pro-Syrian government protesters stood near the Turkish point and demanded the Turkish departure.

Video footage showed Turkish soldiers breaking up the protest by targeting the protesters with tears gas.

This came as a result of the strained Russian-Turkish relationship. Meanwhile, Turkey conducted a patrol on the M4 Highway in the countryside of Idlib on Tuesday, while Russian forces did not participate in the patrol.
