Israeli forces remove road barriers, uproot olive trees in Syria’s Quneitra
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) — Israeli forces recently entered a road between al-Aridah neighborhood and Abdeen village in Syria’s Quneitra governorate, removing stones residents placed to block access to the village.
According to a North Press correspondent, the forces also uprooted several fruit-bearing olive trees along both sides of the road and bulldozed parts of nearby agricultural land.
During documentation of the damage, United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) personnel arrived at the site, met with residents and heard their complaints. They also documented the incident and resulting damage.
