QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces conducted ground incursions and detained three shepherds in Syria’s Quneitra and Daraa countryside on Friday, while opening intermittent fire toward western Daraa, a North Press correspondent reported.

The military activity later ended as the Israeli forces returned to their positions, while the area remained on alert, he said.
In Daraa countryside, Israeli forces fired intermittently from the al-Jazira barracks toward Wadi Maariya in western Daraa, according to the correspondent.
Another force set up a checkpoint between the towns of Saida and al-Razaniya, detained a shepherd and later released him before returning to its positions in the Golan Heights, he added.
