18 members of the PMF killed in airstrikes in the east of Deir ez-Zor

On Wednesday, 18 members of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) were killed by unidentified warplanes targeted their areas of presence near the Syrian-Iraqi borders. As three unidentified warplanes targeted al-Imam Ali Base and al-Hassyan area in al-Bukamal, east of Deir ez-Zor Governorate, near the Syrian-Iraqi borders.

 

At least 10 explosions were heard in the area, which is being used by the Syrian government forces as military bases. The airstrikes killed 18 members of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).

 

Yesterday, the Syrian government official news agency ‘SANA’ announced that air aggression targeted the area southeast of al-Bukamal in Deir ez-Zor countryside.

 

The Syrian official News Channel also reported that unknown warplanes targeted points on the Syrian-Iraqi borders, southeast of al-Bukamal, indicating that the damage was only material.
