Suspending the activities of local and international organizations in northeastern Syria due to coronavirus

On Sunday, the Office of Humanitarian Affairs of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria has decided to suspend all activities of local and international organizations concerning training and rehabilitation workshops and closed meetings.

The Humanitarian Affairs Office excluded from the decision activities related to the distribution of food and non-food relief baskets “until a decision to be issued by the Autonomous Administration.”

On Sunday, the Autonomous Administration has decided to suspend all its official departments, starting from tomorrow, Monday, in order to allow the medical committees to sterilize all public institutions and buildings.

The Autonomous Administration has begun a campaign of sterilization against coronavirus on official institutions of the Administration and public places in the region, as precautionary measures against the global epidemic.
