Coronavirus awareness campaign in Kobani

On Sunday, the Culture Authority in the Euphrates region started an awareness campaign about the coronavirus in the city of Kobani by distributing and posting brochures for the citizens in the main streets of the city.

The co-chair of Culture Authority in the Euphrates region, Rezan Naasan, told North-Press that members of the Culture Authority and the Directorate of Culture participated in the awareness campaign to inform citizens about coronavirus and ways to prevent its spread in the region.

The brochures included symptoms of the infection, methods to prevent infection (sterilizing surfaces, not shaking hands, wearing masks, avoiding crowded places, washing hands thoroughly with soap and sterilizer, avoiding infected people, not touching contaminated surfaces, etc.)

The one-day campaign targets the most congested streets in the city (al-Tellal, al-Mahatta, 48 Street).
