Three people wounded in a car explosion in Syria’s northeastern Hasakah

A car bomb exploded today’s morning in al-Geweran neighborhood in the northeastern Syrian city of Hasakah.
According to North-Press reporter, quoting security sources, that an explosion was heard at 11 a.m., then it was later confirmed as a VBIED car bomb, close to the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) checkpoint.
While initial reports indicate that the injury of two civilians, Abdul Hamid Ramadan Ahmed (40 years), and a young woman Haneen Ahmed (19 years), in addition to a Syrian Democratic forces member, who was slightly injured while his military vehicle was crossing nearby the location of the explosion, the wounded were taken immediately into the National Hospital of Hasakah.
Since the morning hours, as a result of the explosion, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) had been on the alert inside the city, with imposing a security cordon around the location of the explosion.
On July 11, the city of Hasakah had witnessed three consecutive motorcycle bombs within three hours, which was followed then at the same day by a car bomb explosion near a church in the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria, the terrorist attack was then claimed by ISIS.
