Turkish FM Fidan meets Syrian Turkmen Council delegation in Damascus
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met on Monday with a delegation from the Syrian Turkmen Council led by Abdulrahman Mustafa in Damascus.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of Fidan’s official visit to the Syrian capital, which began Sunday, diplomatic sources at the Turkish Foreign Ministry told Anadolu Agency.
During his visit, Fidan met his Syrian counterpart, Asaad al-Shaibani, Interior Minister Anas Khattab and President Ahmed al-Sharaa.
The diplomatic sources did not disclose details of Fidan’s meeting with the Syrian Turkmen Council.
