QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces carried out a new incursion on Thursday in the al-Raqad Valley area near Jamla village in the western countryside of Daraa, according to Syrian state media.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the Israeli forces advanced from al-Jazira military barracks using several military vehicles toward the border area.
The agency said Israeli troops conducted field movements around the valley, while residents in nearby areas remained on alert amid heightened tension. No clashes or arrests were reported during the operation.
The latest movement follows a similar Israeli incursion reported on Sunday, when a force consisting of three tanks and two military vehicles, one equipped with a heavy DShK machine gun, entered the al-Raqad Valley adjacent to Jamla village.
According to local reports at the time, the forces carried out field movements near the village before remaining stationed in the area for a limited period.
