SDF says Damascus-linked factions hit Deir Hafir villages with drone fire

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Friday that two villages in the Deir Hafir countryside of eastern Aleppo were struck by a drone operated by factions affiliated with the Syrian government.

In a statement released on its official platforms, the SDF said, “A drone belonging to the factions affiliated with the Damascus government bombed the villages of Imam and Umm Tina, located north of Deir Hafir in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.” The force added that the same factions also targeted a local crossing point in the area “using sniper weapons.”

According to the SDF, the attacks resulted in material damage to civilian property and areas surrounding the targeted sites. No casualties were reported.
