DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces announced on Thursday that it conducted airstrikes targeting Hezbollah’s key weapon depots and command posts in Homs Governorate, central Syria.
The strikes focused on facilities operated by Hezbollah’s Radwan Force and its armament unit, aiming to disrupt the group’s operational capabilities in the region.
According to Syria’s state media, the strikes hit several residential buildings in the Jisr al-Daf area, near the city of al-Qusayr in the southern countryside of Homs.
The attack caused damage to shops in a nearby industrial zone, though no immediate reports on casualties were available.
Israeli forces spokesperson Avichai Adraee confirmed that Israeli warplanes, with intelligence support, conducted precise strikes on command centers and arms depots used by Hezbollah’s Radwan Force and Munitions Unit in al-Qusayr.
Adraee added that these operations were part of broader efforts to dismantle Unit 4400, which is responsible for transferring weapons from Iran through Syria to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
