IRGC consultant dies from injuries in Israeli airstrike on Damascus

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – A consultant for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has died from injuries he sustained during an Israeli airstrike in the Syrian capital Damascus, an Iranian news agency said on Thursday.

Iran’s Student News Network, an official Iranian news agency, said that the IRGC consultant was identified as Majid Divani.

Divani died of injuries he sustained in the Israeli airstrike that targeted the Mezzeh neighborhood in Damascus on Oct.1.

Syria’s state-run news agency SANA reported at the time that three people were killed and nine others were injured in the airstrike, including Syrian journalist Safaa Ahmad.
