RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Thursday the capture of two militants of the Islamic State (ISIS) in Raqqa Governorate, northern Syria.

In a statement published by its media center, the SDF reported that SDF’s Military Operations Teams (MOT) conducted a successful security operation in Raqqa targeting “an ISIS cell consisting of two terrorists.”

The SDF added that its units captured “Muhammed al-Rukhus and Ahmad al-Rukhus, originally from al-Terwaziya village.”

The terrorist cell was “responsible for facilitating the work of ISIS cells, transporting military equipment and weapons, in addition to carrying out terrorist acts targeting military personnel, civilian employees, and even civic facilities in the region,” SDF pointed out in the statement.
