1.529 bodies of Syrians died in Turkey arrive in homeland
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – The management of the Bab al-Hawa border crossing with Turkey, north Idlib, northwest Syria, announced that 1.529 bodies of Syrians who died in the Feb. 6 earthquake in Turkey have entered Syrian territories so far.
The management said 1.529 bodies of Syrians, who died in the earthquake in Turkey, including men, women and children, have entered Syria.
The number is expected to rise as bodies are still arriving at the border crossing, whereas there is no precise statistic of Syrians who died in Turkey earthquake, according to the border crossings’ management.
At dawn on Feb. 6, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit Syria and Turkey, killing thousands and injuring much more. The earthquake also caused immense destruction of buildings, trapping thousands under the rubble.
