Russia cancels joint patrol with Turkey in Syria’s Kobani

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – Russian Military Police (MP) cancelled on Monday a joint patrol with Turkish forces that was scheduled to be conducted in the eastern countryside of Kobani, northern Syria. 

On Nov. 21, Russian MP cancelled another joint patrol with the Turkish forces, it was scheduled to be conducted in the western countryside of Kobani.

The patrol was canceled due to Turkish military escalation on Kobani, according to an exclusive source.

Since November 20, Kobani was subjected to bombing by Turkish warplanes. The bombardment also covered vast swaths of lands in northern Syria.

On November 14, the Russian MP and the Turkish forces conducted the 119th patrol in the eastern countryside of Kobani.
