Government forces member killed in Syria’s Daraa
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, a member of the Military Security Branch of the Syrian government forces was killed by unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle in the western countryside of Daraa, southern Syria.
Talal al-Mandouri, a member of the Military Security Branch, was killed by unknown assailants in the town of al-Muzayrib, west of Daraa, North Press reported a local source.
Al-Mandouri had worked within the ranks of the opposition factions before the 2018 settlement agreement and joined the ranks of the Military Security Branch of the government forces after reconciling with the government forces.
It should be known that hundreds of young men in the western countryside of Daraa joined the security services of the government forces after they reconciled with the government forces in 2018.
However, despite the spread of military checkpoints of the government forces on the roads linking Daraa’s cities and towns, hundreds of people, most of whom were former opposition members, have been killed so far.
