Casualties, wounded in shelling of fuel stations in Syria’s west Afrin
AFRIN, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, three people lost their lives and others were wounded in a shelling sources said it was by Russian drones targeting a gathering for fuel stations in al-Mazot Street in west of Afrin, north Syria.
As a result of targeting the fuel stations, west of the city, fire broke out in one of the stations and killed two women, who were near it, and wounded two other persons, who were transferred to the military hospital in the street, an exclusive source told North Press.
“The missile bombardment targeted a fuel station on al-Mazot Street, which led to the outbreak of a large fire in the area, resulting in serious material damage to the place.” he added.
The targeting coincided with another Turkish shelling from the Turkish military base in Azaz city of Ain Daqna village with dozens of shells, without any news of the extent of the damage caused by the bombing.
