47 new coronavirus cases recorded in Syrian government-held areas
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the media office of the Ministry of Health of the Syrian government recorded 47 new coronavirus infections and three deaths in its areas of control.
The government’s media office stated on its Facebook account that the new deaths were recorded in Aleppo.
Meanwhile, the media office announced the recording of nine new recoveries.
The new cases were 15 in Aleppo, eight in Hama, six in Homs, five each in Damascus, Latakia, and Suwayda, two in Tartous, and one in Daraa.
The total toll of the infections in the government-held areas has come up to 25,205, including 1,851 deaths and 21,756 recoveries.
On Monday, the government-held areas recorded 40 new coronavirus infections, three deaths, and nine recoveries.
