Syrian government-held areas record three coronavirus deaths

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the media office of the Ministry of Health of the Syrian government recorded 20 new coronavirus infections and three deaths in its areas of control.

The government’s media office stated on its Facebook account that the new deaths were one each in Damascus, Aleppo, and Rif Dimashq.

Meanwhile, the media office announced the recording of six new recoveries.

The new cases were five in Tartus, four each in Suwayda and Daraa, three in Aleppo, and two each in Damascus and Latakia.

The total toll of the infections in the government-held areas has come up to 24,700, including 1,799 deaths and 21,646 recoveries.

On Monday, government-held areas recorded three deaths, 21 new coronavirus cases, and five recoveries.
