Eight ISIS members killed in joint operation of Coalition, Peshmerga
ERBIL, Iraq (North Press) – The US-led Global Coalition forces, with the participation of the Peshmerga forces, carried out a military operation against the Islamic State (ISIS), which resulted in the killing of eight ISIS members, a security source in Garmian region of Kurdistan, said on Wednesday.
In an interview with North Press, the source said, the operation was carried out at 2 am, targeting an ISIS detachment in Zanana area, north of Tuz Khurma district, Salah al-Din governorate.
The targeted area is located in the border line between the Peshmerga forces and the Iraqi army, and it is one of the disputed areas between Erbil and Baghdad.
