Iraqi Intelligence arrests ISIS postman in Kirkuk

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Iraqi Intelligence Service announced that it had arrested ISIS postman in the governorate of Kirkuk.

“A qualitative intelligence operation characterized by accurate information and continuous follow-up on the moves of a terrorist ISIS member, who was working as a postman transferring between ISIS strongholds, dens and sleeper cells, was launched in al-Zab region in Hawija district,” the Intelligence Service said in a statement reported on the Iraqi Alsumaria News TV channel.

“The Military Intelligence Division detachments in the 14th Division, a force of the 1st Regiment, the 51st Infantry Brigade, and a detachment of the Popular Mobilization Forces began to move towards the target and arrested him in the aforementioned area,” the statement added.

Yesterday, the Iraqi Intelligence Services and Investigation reported the arrest of Wali of Fallujah during an intelligence operation in cooperation with the Intelligence Agency (Asayish) of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Iraq.
