38 new coronavirus cases recorded in northwest Syria

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 38 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.

On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said that it recorded 38 cases of the virus and 36 recoveries.

It indicated that it had conducted tests for 391 suspected cases in its areas.  

With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 22,033 including 655 deaths and 20,015 recoveries.

On Saturday, Syria’s northwest areas recorded 12 new coronavirus infections.
