30 new coronavirus cases recorded in northwest Syria
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 30 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.
On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said that it recorded 30 cases of the virus and five recoveries.
It indicated that it had conducted tests for 404 suspected cases in Idlib and Aleppo regions.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 21,962 including 641 deaths and 19,946 recoveries.
On Wednesday, Syria’s northwest areas recorded 39 new coronavirus infections.
